The San Antonio / Austin Nest List

This is my Pokémon Nest list that I have compiled so far.

I try to make as detailed and precise as possible, geared more towards efficient candy farming.

July 29th, 2016 - We found out that nests change. I’m assuming they swap back and forth every two weeks or so. Not 100% certain about the rotation but it is for sure that some of the nests have changed Pokemon type. This list now accounts for those changes.

This nest is a series of spawns along the 5 mile stretch of trail on the Downtown side of the river (OPPOSITE of Auditorium Shores)

In order for this to be any kind of useful, you have to be able to scan and travel that very large area of map. Please, be mindful of the amount of effort and planning needed to utilize this efficiently.

For anyone who is curious how I determined what should or should not make the list, here is a brief explanation.

I created a script that uses a GPS scanning server I host from home and runs a type of pattern recognition against Niantic’s API, which is open source, determining spawn timers, rate of spawn, and type of Pokemon. This lets me know if it’s an above average spawn location and if it should be added to the nest list you see here.

This means, more nests will be added as they are verified by me.
